The DIFF's CRC does not match with the .exe's CRC in this release 2009-02-04b v1.0. While we can turn off checking the CRC or modify it ourselves, just thought I'd let you know.

Are you sure to use patch 2009-02-04b and not the a (because, before with have this to version on svn, please update)

Are you sure you didn't try to patch and already patched exe ?

If this two answer don't work, try with k3dt's patcher.

PACKETVER must set 20071106, in src/map/clif.h:
#define PACKETVER 20071106

cause it's really confusing.. however the source has now a solution for that.. You could just change the packetver to 9 and the server will change the packetver to 20071106.

and in the ReadMe.. I have seen that the packetver should be exact as the client version. e.g 2009-02-04b client will have the packetver 20090204.

Put PACKETVER9 is not a solution, it's the old system.

Put the clientdate is to be sure the client have the same PACKETVER than the server.

It might have been something odd on my end. I did indeed use the b version DIFF with the b version executable provided on the SVN. Then again I still use the really old patcher 1.1 by Maldiablo. It's about time for me to upgrade after all of these years..

Job : Gunslinger

Can anybody please help me? I've tried changing langtypes as what other people would claim as the solution before. What possibly is the reason for me to have this error? I always update my RO.

You error is odd, because the job show you have an Gunslinger, and when it's a error from connection to login/char server or char creation, job is novice.

I think you problem is something with the MOTD/Skill/Item problem.

So post in the good section, it's diff related problem here, not all problem you can have with client.

Resolved.. What I did is just I downloaded the latest Rag and Sak Setup and reinstalled.. now it works fine..

seems like after using tis sak i cant go over lvl 99...it just stuck there...i mean i use d old xray client able to let me see the exp bar over lvl 99...but for tis i cant

Use the diff "Show_EXP/Job_Bars_up_to_255" and be sure to have the correct change server-side.

yes i have use it and i am sure correct change on server-side...when using back old xray i can see my exp bar at lvl 99 but the old xray screw up my skill tree list...and this new 1 screw up my lvl bar

to me this Show_EXP/Job_Bars_up_to_25 diff is not working..infact that this diff also not working in 2009-01-29aSakexe.diff either
