At an attempt to reduce the time spent on this script, i will no longer off support to any versions before v5.0.
-Setup Guide-
CODE
Step 1. Save script to " NPC " folder, under customs.
(Step1 Example: npc/custom/DisguiseEvent.txt)
Step 2. Search for this in the script: //Hint and then, add // at the front of the line below it.
Step 3. Load script in your server. (Recommended to restart server).
Step 4. Talk to the NPC as a GM (Level 60+), and Choose to edit, the settings.
Step 5. After Editing all ( 3 ) settings, talk to the npc again, to start the event.
Step 6. Enjoy~!

Attached File  disguiseevent.txt ( 9.14K ) Number of downloads: 2439
- This script has been optimized significantly. As a result, it is now 50% of its original size. It has been re-done top to bottom. So there should be no more bugs. If any arise, please post them here, and i'll will do my best as usual to fix them. Thank you and Enjoy~!

This version of the script, uses the " Round " system. As thus, each round, a player will be given a prize. After all the rounds have been played, the event will end. And Begin again, 2 hours later.

The Below is the List of all BlackListed Monsters, these monsters will not be shown in by the NPC. To add them back, remove them from the below arrays inside the script.

There are approx. 134 black listed monsters. Black listed Monsters, are mobs in side mob_db.txt that are commented ( //'d ) out. And thus would cause errors, if left in.

I'm glad to hear that. The Reason for the Hint, is because sometimes it will spawn the monster seen in Jupe Dungeon level 2. The Stone Pillar thing O.O Even i didn't know its name lolz, so i decided to add the Hint just incase no one knew it =p

I see. Alright I'll take a look at that.

Edit: Alright I tested my scripts once again. And I believe the reason for your problems, is due to a variable that i had when i first realeased this script. That problem was fixed with the update. Please download the file again to fix your problem. As well as to prevent all possible exploits.

do i really need to be close in the npc when entering my answer? some players cant see the monster because of players


player A enter the answer and the player B,C,D,E,F,G....Z are waiting for the answer then if the answer shows on the announcement player B will put the answer

Hmm, that indeed is a problem... Alright, i think i've figured out a way to fix that, so even if Player B-Z enter the answer after Player A types it in, It will say the round is over. Give me a moment. I'm also optimizing a script for the Prize Menu for this said script.

I'm glad lolz. Because honestly I really enjoy'd working on this script. And its even fun for me to play while testing it xD
Okies. I have fixed your problem. And as a bonus, that many probably havent seen before. I intodruce a menu, that will allow you to choose from Over 2,500 different Items for your prize. ( If it says null, its because the item isn't in your item_db. Or looks like this:

haven't tested this script yet, but this sure is great. Good idea. (IMG:http://www.eathena.ws/board/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

hmmm..why not make two NPCs, one for the disguise and another npc where players can input answers. So it won't be too crowded around the disguised one.

Make the cells around the npc un-walkable. And that should solve the problem of the players being too close
