Main Server Patch

- Episode 13.3 update added.

<<Episode 13.3: El Dicastes>>
The adventurer's haven gained good will with the Sapha tribe are invited to travel to their capital city.
Find the Sapha Tribe envoy at the Midgard Expedition Camp in the Ash Vacuum.

- Many quests and daily quests added to El Dicastes.

- With the episode 13.3 update, the episode 13 update new world monsters level has been adjusted.

- The cat hand are helping adventurers get to the new world. Talk to the cat hand member in the paradise group base. (Required level: 70)

- Added the new permanent shop headgear "Snowman Hat" for sale.

- Added new episode 13.3 related items.

Common Patch

- Christmas event has started. Christmas decorations can be found in the following towns: Alberta, Aldebaran, Geffen, Hugel, Izlude, Prontera, Prontera Church.

- Corrected the skill description for the Priest skill "BS Sacramenti" showing the max level as 1 instead of 5.
- Corrected the weight capacity of Royal Guard.

- Fixed the MDEF + 4 option of the Casting Robe [0] being omitted.
- High Heels[0] have had their defence increased from 4 to 10 to put it in line with High Heels[1].

- Corrected the tournament shield description stating it increased aspd instead of decreased.

- Corrected the aspd modifiers on the following items: Giant Axe, Kamaitachi, Wind Hawk, Librarian Gloves, Dark Knight Gloves, Kandra.

- Corrected textures related to the exhibition items in Brasilis.

Sakray Test Server

- Added a close button on the quick shortcut window. The existing close button on the shortcut bar will open the quick shortcut window.

- Added a shortcut key for the basic information window. (Shortcut Alt + `) Only usable when the basic information window is small.

- The 'Close all Windows' button will close all open windows and display only the character and background.

- Added royal guard skill balancing.

-Canon Spear
The damage radius is increased from 1 cell to 3 cells.
The skill damage formula is adjusted.

-Vanishing Point
SP cost is changed.
The skill damage formula is adjusted.

-Trample
When breaking damage traps, there's a chance you won't take any damage.
The chance increases based on the users stats and skill level.

-Shield Press
The skill damage formula is adjusted.
The stun chance and duration is adjusted.

-Pinpoint Attack
The skill damage formula is adjusted.

-Force of Vanguard
The chance of getting rage counters when taking damage is changed.

-Rage Burst Attack
Cooldown time is removed.
SP cost is changed.
The skill damage formula is adjusted.

-Exceed Break
The skill damage formula is adjusted.
The variable cast time is changed.
SP cost is changed.

-Over Brand
The skill damage formula is adjusted.
The damage radius is adjusted.
SP cost is changed.

-Prestige
The defence increase is adjusted.
The amount gained is based off of the skill level and the learned level of defending aura.

-Banding
The sp maintenance cost of the skill is adjusted.
The attack and defence gained from the skill is adjusted.

-Moon Slasher
The variable cast is now 1 second.
The cooldown time is changed to 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 seconds.
The skill damage formula is adjusted.

-Ray of Genesis
The HP cost of the skill is adjusted.
The skill damage formula is adjusted.
The skill is changed so that if you do not have 2 or more Royal Guards in banding, the skill can still be used if you are in Inspiration status.

-Earth Drive
The skill damage formula is adjusted.
The skill was changed to deal damage to hiding enemies.
The chance of breaking your shield has changed.

-Hesperslit
SP cost is changed.
The skill damage formula is adjusted.
The skill is changed so that if you do not have 2 or more Royal Guards in banding, the skill can still be used if you are in Inspiration status.

-Inspiration
The SP cost of the skill is changed.
The following effects have changed:
When casting the skill the experience drop is reduced to 0.1%.
When casting all buffs and status effects are removed.
While active, blessing and increase agility has no effect.
While active, you cannot use items.
While active, your natural HP and SP regeneration is stopped, and you cannot recover HP from skills.
While active, you cannot receive status conditions or be affected by guillotine cross poison.
While active, the wanderer/minstrel effects deep sleep and fury have no effect.
While active, the shadow chaser body paint and masquerades have no effect.

- The following prerequisites have been changed on the Royal Guard's skill tree.

Ray of Genesis: Grand Cross Lv 10 -> Grand Cross Lv 5
Reflect Damage: Reflect Shield Lv 3 -> Reflect Shield Lv 5
Piety: Faith Lv10 -> Faith Lv 3
Inspiration: Ray of Genesis Lv 1 -> Ray of Genesis Lv 4
Vanishing Point/Moon Slasher: Spear Quicken Lv 1 -> Spear Mastery Lv 1

Hmm, interessting balance with Royal Guard ^^ Wonder how this will turn out now, can't wait for it on the 3CeAM project to test.

Already visited Dicastes, really cool place, gravity made a very good job there, also the inside looks very interessting.

Hope the item/mob_db2 and the warps will be soon out for the maps and dungeons ^^

Anyone else think that the tiling on that map (the screenshots given) looks a bit shabby? Looks like they didn't know how to fade between snow and road.

because it's an elevated platform. The jagged area is a staircase, and the rounded area is the elevated walkway. it just lacks proper shading since models can't have lightmaps on them :x

Skill changes (via Diffing the skilldesctable2.txt):

Cannon Spear:
- Now has 3 cell splash range
- 100% + 50%*SkillLV ATK -> 50% * SkillLV ATK
- STR now influences the damage directly

Vanishing Point:
- Requires Spear Mastery 1 instead of Spear Quicken 1
- 100% +30%*SkillLV ATK -> 50% * SkillLV ATK
- SP Cost: 20+4*SkillLV -> Lv1-5: 20 SP, Lv 6-10: 25 SP

Trample:
- Chance to disable damage traps without taking damage as stated in patch notes. Chance affected by DEX and AGI of the caster.

Shield Press
- Stun chance affected by caster's DEX and skill level.
- Base stun chance 65% + 5%*SkillLV -> 30% + 8%*SkillLV
- Damage formula changed apparently? No mention in skilldesctable2.txt

Reflect Damage
- Requires Reflect Shield 5 instead of 3

Pinpoint Attack
- No indication of damage formula change, contrary to patch notes

Force of Vanguard
- Chance to gain rage counter increased: 8% + 2%*SkillLV -> 8% + 12%*SkillLV

Exceed Break
- Damage affected by caster's stats, rather than job level/weapon level/weight of the weapon (doesn't mention which stat)
- SP Cost: 10+4*SkillLV -> 20+4*skillLV


Overbrand
- 100% ATK*SkillLV -> 400% ATK *SkillLV
- Brandish Damage 100% ATK*SKillLV -> 300% ATK*SkillLV + caster's STR and DEX

A new monster called Botaring was found in the data. It looks like a poring in a bag or something. Kinda weird. Anyone wanna post a gif of it?

Here some cool stuff about the interface. Whats cool about the new interface functions in the latest client, pressing F12 now toggles the number of shortcut bars that appears like 1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars, 4 bars, no bars. Another intresting thing is F11, which pressing it closes all interface windows except the main one and just makes it smaller, but pressing it again toggles the interface on and off, which is great for takeing screenshots. Finally, ive seen a lub file saying something like skillinfo or something, so upon checking that out, skill desc balloons no longer go off the screen. Instead it attaches to the edges of the screen to make sure you can see it. However, if the desc balloon is too big, it will go off screen. Shouldnt be a problem for players who use a good res for their video settings.

Oh yeh, the images have been edited now to show the respective models. Without them earlier, it looked like Gravity had simply cut out any form of fade between the two.

Interesting, i'm looking forward to seeing this in-game!

I like the concept. Haven't seen one like it since Juperos, in my opinion.

As for the bit about the interface: Don't like it. It was so much easier to use battlemode or even switch through the shortcut lists. I don't see any way to use either of the aforementioned methods now, and assigning shortcuts is hell with all the keys on my numpad sticking due to an unfortunate incident with a can of coke. Isn't that an old update though?
