Okay guys, First of all, we started this project for the french community, but we wanted the english language to be supported.
So we dont give any support here. the .ini files a detailed, i count on the board members to help people who cant understand how it s working ^^. There is the link for the Triad Patcher s page : Triad Patcher Spec. : Triad Patcher is divided into three parts listed below. Triad Patcher* - Fully skinnable; - Fully modelable; - Fully configurable; - Display (can be disabled) a static banner (BMP, JPG/JPEG ou PNG) or animated (SWF); - Multilingual (delivered with the French/English languages pack); - Add and update the files; - Multi-GRF/GPF** support; - Fusion and repack of GRF/GPF files (version 0x200 only); - Logging of all actions done by Triad Patcher (can be disabled, french only); - Display mini-website (for the news of your server, server watch, etc...); - Auto-restart of Triad Patcher when the Config.tpc*** configuration file is updated. Triad Configurator - Transform the skin, the static or animated banner (if enabled), the configuration file and the languages file into a binary file (Config.tpc) which will have to be placed with Triad Patcher. Triad Packer - To create patchs for Triad Patcher (Triad Patcher format > TPP); - GRF/GPF file fusion management (version 0x200 only). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * Triad Patcher uses GRF.DLL, dynamic library developed by Di Vincenzo Mikaël allowing the fusion and the repack of GRF/GPF files. ** GRF/GPF is a file format developed by Gravity and is the property of Gravity. *** The Config.tpc file allow you to not put the skin, the banner (if activated), the configuration and the languages file to the rough format, at the disposal of the players (that constitutes a safety against plagiarism). It's also faster for the loading of these data. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can support us by clicking on the adds (IMG:http://www.eathena.ws/board/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Really, a better skinning system would be nice. Support for PNG and semi-transparency would make this patcher so much more skinnable. Also, it seems the skin file is all one file...I dont like that. (IMG:http://www.eathena.ws/board/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Hi there,
Sorry for help file, but i don't have the time to make this one, actually. In the Configurator\Default\config.ini file : QUOTE ; Options de base - Base options [baseoptions];Langue des textes ;Texts language ;(francais, english, ...) language = francais ;Langue du texte de "A propos" ;"About" text language ;0 = Francais, 1 = English about_lang = 0 Do that change to switch in the English language : QUOTE ; Options de base - Base options [baseoptions];Langue des textes ;Texts language ;(francais, english, ...) language = english ;Langue du texte de "A propos" ;"About" text language ;0 = Francais, 1 = English about_lang = 1 Don't forget to recompile Config.tpc (with Triad Configurator.exe). About the skin (and the PNG support), maybe i'll work in this feature for the next version of Triad Patcher. Thanks to all. |

It admits only HTTP protocol (for webpage and patch downloading).
All Win32 OS based is supported (98, ME, 2000, WinXP, ...). I don't test if it works in Win64 OS based. It works probably. |
